Customer ServiceProvides excellent customer service by treating all customers fairly and honestly.Delivers the following customer service standards with a welcoming manner:Answers all inbound calls to Stock Control office politely within three rings.Detail oriented and able to work as part of a team.Customers come first, not paperwork or discussions with other Team Members.TDC HelpDesk inquiries are responded to with acknowledgement of receipt within one hour.Provides timely responses and feedback to inquiries.Provides clear communication between TDC Management, Purchasers, Branches and Corporate Teams.Customer service issues are resolved by the end of the following business day. Ability to create and maintain relationships with team members and customers. Inventory Duties Responsible for daily inventory cycle counts.Accurately count inventory and adjust when necessary.Proper reporting of inventory variances.Perform stock checks on inventory and respond to request promptly.Receive daily branch Load Evaluations and investigate any discrepancies reported to the TDC.Maintain and log Load Evaluations records using Excel. Daily maintaining and updating of any errors attributed to a team member on the Master Error Report using Excel.Weekly maintaining and updating of an Inventory Adjustment Report.Create primary bin locations for new product arriving into the TDC.Maintaining product location(s) to fit inventory levels.Responsible for maintaining and adjusting product layouts when necessary.Assist with monthly steel coil counts.Assist with product recalls, quarantines, and product retags.Process and document inventory returns to vendors/suppliers.Responsible for overseeing freight claims and in-house damages.Responsible for identifying “useless” items in inventory.Assisting in Dynacycle (reclaim) process.Acquire and maintain certifications on all TDC assets needed to accurately count and manage inventory. Assist with training of newer team members when necessary.Promotes use of Gensco/TDC SOPs and Procedures. Stewards of good inventory integrity and management throughout Gensco/TDC.Perform other duties as assigned.

Education/Experience/Skills

High school diploma or GED requiredRegularly and repetitively lift 50 pounds and frequently lift 75 pounds, using proper lifting techniquesAble to move freely about the facility, climb stairs, stoop, bend, kneel, stand and walk for extended periods of time up to and over 8 hours a dayAble to use all types of warehouse equipment including, but not limited to, hand trucks, pallet jacks, forklifts, ladders, order pickers bar code readers, etc.Able to use an electronic calculator, computer, and other business equipmentAble to work at heights up to 30’Able to handle multiple activitiesAble to work alone and in teamsPossesses excellent attention to detailDemonstrated ability to manage details and meet deadlines with 100% accuracy in a multi-task environmentAbility to analyze and solve problems.Customer service-oriented approach, responds to requests with a sense of urgencyProactive, self-motivated, able to recognize issues and resolve or escalate appropriately Willing to “think out of the box” and identify process improvement opportunitiesProficient in Microsoft office (Outlook, Word, and Excel)Strong math skillsExcellent verbal and written communication skills.
