HVAC Equipment Support Specialist

Description

Summary of position:Performs a broad range of High Efficiency equipment support functions and training for customers and Gensco employeesProvides customers and Gensco team members with product application, installation, and service training for our major equipment lines.Develops and delivers instructional classes, presentations, and videos to assist new and existing dealers.Provides technical field support assistance for Gensco customers.

Education/Experience/Skills

Completion of a 2-year college degree in technical studies or equivalent work experience

Five years of related work experience and excellent knowledge of HVAC industry

Demonstrated ability to manage details and meet deadlines with 100% accuracy

Customer service-oriented approach, responds to requests with a sense of urgency

Strong attention to detail, excellent time management and organizational skills

Proactive, self-motivated, able to recognize issues and resolve or escalate appropriately Ability to use tact and diplomacy in sensitive situations

Recognizes when to use a formal or informal approach, good at crafting a solution rather than simply saying “no”

Excellent presentation and communication skills

Able to operate a personal computer, calculator, other office machines, and proficient in MS Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Excellent driving record

Able to work sitting or standing and to move freely throughout our facilities

Able to lift and carry equipment and supplies on a frequent basis

Able to travel as required with overnight stays
