Makes customer service for both internal and external customers a top priority.Provides guidance and support to Hiring Managers through the recruiting and hiring process. Performs a variety of recruiting services to help Gensco achieve hiring objectives including placing job ads, attendance at career fairs, candidate assessment and coordinating interviews.With guidance and oversight by Gensco’s VP of HR, supports Gensco’s internship programs. Networks and builds relationships with key partners in the community to build a pipeline of qualified candidates for Gensco for the future.
-List open positions on appropriate internet job boards, social media and Gensco.com.
-Screen job applications and/or resumes for open positions.
-Work collaboratively with all Hiring Managers during the hiring process and maintaining a high level of communication and coordination until the position is filled.
-Conduct phone interviews and schedule in-person interviews for Hiring Managers as requested.
-Attend high school, college, community and veteran career fairs with overnight travel sometimes required.
-Travel to Gensco Branch locations as necessary with overnight travel sometimes required.
-Support Gensco’s retention strategies, including but not limited to, orientation/onboarding, stay interviews, team building events, succession planning, Team Member development plans, etc.
-Send follow up letters to job candidates as necessary and maintain appropriate recruiting files.
-Track, monitor and report open position status on a weekly basis to VP of HR.
-Update and distribute new hire packets to Hiring Managers.
-Process and code recruiting related invoices as appropriate.
-Assist in Gensco’s Team Member service award program.
-Maintain HR Team’s paper supply.
-Perform other general Recruiting/HR functions as needed.
