Gensco has an immediate opportunity for a qualified HR Coordinator with a “can do” customer service attitude to join our team in Tacoma. This position will assist the HR team in the day to day office duties with an emphasis on recruiting and retention. Duties and Responsibilities: Recruiting - 1. Listing positions on Internet job “boards” and updating gensco.com. 2. Accumulating and screening applications and/or resumes. 3. Conducting a screening interview over the phone with job candidates. 4. Responding to the hiring Manager questions during the Team Member selection process. 5. Send follow-up letters to interviewed job candidates and maintain appropriate recruiting files. HR Administration - 1. Assist with developing and maintaining policies and programs. 2. Assist with HR’s efforts in tracking, reporting and monitoring compliance and compilation of other HR statistics. 3. Update and distribute new hire packets to Gensco Managers. 4. Process all HR related vendor invoices and seek proper approval. 5. Perform other general HR functions as needed.

Education/Experience/Skills

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • College degree preferred
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to manage details and meet deadlines with 100% accuracy in a multi-task environment
  • Excellent PC skills
  • Customer service-oriented approach, responds to requests with a sense of urgency
  • Proactive, self-motivated, able to recognize issues and resolve or escalate appropriately
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, both in person and over the phone
  • Must be comfortable working in a team oriented, fast paced, multiple task and customer focused environment
